The primary reason these symbols are displayed is to warn consumers that possible skin sensitisation reactions may occur whilst using the product, the product may be flammable, or it may be an environmental hazard if the product were to be released into the environment.

Skin sensitisation occurs when repeated exposure to a specific chemical triggers an immune response. This typically results in an allergic skin reaction, causing inflammation, redness, bumps, and sensations like stinging, burning, or itching. Some naturally occurring allergens in essential oils can contribute to skin sensitisation over time. If you experience any signs of skin sensitisation while using our products, discontinue use immediately.
